Cycle Settings
Select appropriate drying temperature, dryness level and
options most suitable for each load. Make selections based
on load size, dampness and fabric type and durability.
The settings can be changed before the cycle is started.
If changes are attempted after the cycle starts, the
lights will ash and a signal will beep, but the cycle will
continue.
Follow the fabric care label instructions
on items to be dried.

Í
NOTE
To change the settings once the cycle has begun, push
in the cycle selector knob to pause the cycle, make the
new selections and push in the selector knob again to
restart the dryer.
Drying Temperature
Turn the temp knob until the desired drying temperature
is selected. To protect your fabrics, the temperature range
from low to high settings may be different depending on
cycle selected. If an unavailable temperature setting is
selected by the user, the nearest available temperature will
be substituted. Refer to complete dryer settings chart.
sanitize (on select models)
Recommended for durable fabrics and towels. Use this
selection to remove harmful bacteria from your clothing
or other items where sanitization is desired.
Dryness Level (Auto Dry, on select models)
To change the preset level, rotate the dry level knob
(on select models) to the degree of dryness desired.
Select the normal dryness level for most Auto Dry cycles.
Occasionally a load may seem too damp or over-dried at
the end of the cycle. To increase drying time for similar
loads in the future, select high. For loads requiring less
drying time, select low.
Select damp (on select models) for items you wish to
partially dry before hanging or ironing.
Options
energy saver (on select models)
The energy saver option reduces the drying
temperature a few degrees to save energy. In
conjunction with automatic moisture sensors, cycle
times will increase slightly, but overall energy usage will
decrease.
shrink guard (on select models)
Select shrink guard to lower the initial drying
temperature to protect fabrics from overdrying.
wrinkle release
Select wrinkle release if the dried load might not
be removed promptly at the end of the cycle. The dry
load will continue tumbling without heat to help reduce
wrinkling. When chime is selected, a beep will be
heard periodically. The load may be removed any time
during wrinkle release.
chime
A signal will sound at the end of the cycle (and
periodically during wrinkle release) if this option is
selected.
